X-Ray diffraction
HDK S1 (Standard Version)
Enquire:
Article No.: 2435000
Low cost high temperature chamber.
X-ray diffraction in well-defined atmospheres (e.g. inert gas,
N2 and oxidative mixtures up to 1 bar) or in high
vacuum in the 10-6 mbar range.
Capton x-ray window other materials available
(e.g. Be).
Standard configuration for powder diffraction from room
temperature up to 1600°C.
Easily convertable for low temperature investigations
from -185°C to +400°C.
HDK S1 (with Low Temperature Option)
Cold stage conversion through the front plate of the HDK S1
within minutes.
Easy connection by an isolated hose to a liquid
N2 dewar and the small maintenance-free pump.
Operation at a constant flow of liquid nitrogen
and controlled heating between -185°C and +400°C.
The same heat controller (REP 1800) can be used for
high and low temperature applications with the HDK S1.
REP 1800 (Heat Controller for HDK S1)
Enquire:
Article No.: 2434000
PID-controller programmable by front panel keys or
computer via RS 232 interface.
Operation with 2 sets of control parameters for optimal
temperature control.
Easily adaptable to most requirements, e.g. different
thermocouples and temperature ranges, in high or low
temperature operation of the HDK S1.
Powerful high-current transformer, thyristor-controlled
0,85 kVA for the sample carrier (HT) and the heater
(LT option).
Safety circuitry for thermal overload and cooling water control.
19" (4HE) housing also for table-top use.

HDK 2.4 /SO
Enquire:
Article No.: 2442000
Temperatures up to 1800°C and 2400°C respectively in
well-defined atmospheres or in high vacuum.
High temperature, stainless steel furnace. Radiation shields
and an additional sample surrounding heater in the HDK 2.4
enable achievement of these extreme temperatures and
mantain low temperature gradients at the sample.
Beryllium window for low intensity loss of the penetrating
x-rays.
Options: rotating sample holder for operation up to 1600°C
by means of a surrounding heater.
HDK HD 60
For temperatures up to 800°C and pressures to 60 bar
under well-defined conditions, e.g. inert gas, N2, CO, CO2.
Definded flow rate and flow path of the gas through the sample.
Be window for optimal x-ray entrance and exit.
HDK-HD 20 for less high demands concerning temperature
(600°C) and pressure (20 bar).
REP 2000 (Heat Controller for HDK 2.4 / HD 60)
Enquire:
Article No.: 2433000
PID-controller with same features as REP 1800.
Powerful high-current transformer having 2.1 kVA output.
Safety ciruitry similar to that of the REP 1800.
19" (4HE) housing also for table-top use.
